Fitness Center

The BCMH Rehab & Fitness Center offers a variety of health and fitness services to meet the needs of the community.  The Fitness Center is staffed by certified personal trainers who are eager to assist members in meeting their health and fitness goals.  New members are always welcome and will receive a full orientation to cardiovascular and strengthening equipment.  Upon joining, individual goals are assessed and used to develop a basic fitness program.  Ongoing individual or group personal training services are available for purchase for individuals seeking new ideas and extra motivation.  In addition, group exercise classes, such as pilates, yoga, bootcamp, senior strengthening classes and more, are offered by the BCMH Fitness Center.  Group fitness classes are a great addition to any exercise program.  Throughout the year, the Fitness Center is involved in various community health initiatives and events including the annual Melt-Down weight loss contest, and the Baraga County Lake Trout Festival run/walk/cycling event.

The BCMH Rehab & Fitness Center is located in downtown L’Anse and overlooks beautiful Lake Superior.  The center has state-of-the-art exercise equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, arm bikes, selectorized strengthening machines, free weights, and more.
