Baraga County Memorial Hospital start vaccinating staff today per MDHHS guidelines. We are currently in the Phase 1A and once completed, we will move on to the Phase 1B. This will be followed by Phase 1C and then Phase 2. We will continue these vaccinations, adhering to the MDHHS guidelines. Video

Governor Whitmer’s announced on June 5, 2020, more than 30 counties in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula will move into “Phase 5” of the state’s economic re-opening on June 10th, which allows movie theaters, salons and fitness centers may reopen.
All business effected, including gyms, will have to abide by strict safety precautions to attempt to control the spread of the virus. Those safety precautions include:

L’Anse, MI (October, 2019) – Baraga County Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital, announced today the opening of the BCMH Advanced Wound Center, an outpatient clinic offering a comprehensive approach for patients with non-healing wounds.
